I am a “forever“ emerging artist. I do mostly figurative work in acrylic paint but I really like using all mediums. I grew up in Augusta GA and I am the third oldest of 14 biological siblings. I started creating art when I was 2 years old. I would draw and color on the back of junk mail and any other blank papers that my mother would give me. 

I get inspiration for my art from having a strong sensitivity to life. I also get inspired by my feelings and visions that come to me. I value symbols, black culture and essence. Within my art, I try to express what I value about the mystery of life. I want to share my art in way that makes people feel proud and resilient about who they are and what they are. I hope that when people look at my art, they get lost in the design and details but also find a form of spiritual meaning in the work as well. 

I am also a US Army veteran. It is one of the things I am very proud of next to being a father and a husband to my beautiful wife. My family is a huge support and inspiration when it comes to making my art. I am very thankful for the life lessons that I learned during my time in the Service. My art has played a big part in helping me cope mentally with some of my military experiences. I hope that my art can help other people heal mentally and spiritually just like it has helped me. I am greatful for the ability to create my art and for the opportunity to share it with the world.
